Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Crystal Verification Technician to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey.
The work hours for this Midnight position are Sunday Night through Thursday Night 10:
30 PM - 7:
00AM.

POSITION OVERVIEW Performs visual, real time image computer and NDT inspection on single crystal castings.
The Crystal Verification Tech has nonconforming product disposition authority to review product non-conformances as part of continuous improvement.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.

Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To visually inspect the grain integrity of SC and DS castings to specific customer requirements and with the aid of a real time image computer program, analyze the internal properties.
To perform any rework operations, e.
g.
belting, RX, spot etch, to complete the inspection process in an expeditious manner to meet customer schedules.
Performs other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
