Position Description This position plans, formulates, designs and administers various engineered projects and programs related to traditional manufacturing facilities infrastructure and production equipment. Determine new production equipment or modifications to existing equipment. Work with suppliers and contractors on procurement of production equipment and infrastructure support. supervise maintenance technicians in the day to day management of maintenance activities. Additional objectives of the Maintenance Supervisor include accountability for results within their assigned areas for EHS, productivity, asset management, people development, contract services, cost control and quality using ABS systems such as TPM, Daily Management, 5S, etc. The Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Facilities Manager, Manufacturing Manager, area leaders, and Planning organizations by supporting the planning and coordinating of shutdowns, preventative and predictive maintenance, breakdown support and spare parts management, problem solving, root cause analysis, TPM, Kaizen and EHS activities.
Basic Qualifications Experience in Manufacturing EnvironmentGood verbal and written communication skillsPC and analytical skillsBasic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems in a diverse industrial environmentStrong mechanical aptitude. BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience; 5-10 years experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
