Position Description:
This position removes ceramic cores and quartz tubes from the castings.
? Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
? Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
? Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
? Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
? Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
? Attend all EHS training.
? Removes ceramic cores and quartz tubes from castings using caustic solutions, heated and pressurized to predetermined specifications.
? Processes castings for subsequent inspection by the use of acids or other chemical solutions in accordance with predetermined specifications.
? Mixes, neutralizes, cleans, and refills vessels containing acid or caustic solutions.
? Maintains own production and other records as required.
? Maintains work area in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe condition.
? Follows all applicable safety rules. Works in a safe manner at all times.
? Performs other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
? Performs all post core removal cleaning operations, i.e.; waterhone, acid rinse, oven dry, etc.
? Loads and unloads castings into baskets for core removal process to specific instructions.
? Maintains identity of castings through all operations.
? Position involves working in pairs and hence the weight limits listed are calculated accordingly
? Must be able to work in a team environment and be clean shaven.
? Read, interpret, and communicate instructions.
? Operate and maintain leach autoclaves and related equipment.
? Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.
? Perform pre & post leach operations
? Requires lifting of up to 25 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
