Emergency Room Nurse

This RN would most likely alternate between the Emergency Departments at St. Clare's in Dover and St. Clare's in Denville

  • Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice

  • Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry

  • ?Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department

  • Communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient?s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology

  • Capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment

  • ?Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker

  • Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality

Saint Clare's provides 24/7 comprehensive emergency medicine services at our hospitals in Denville and Dover. Our paramedics work alongside local first responders to provide advanced life support in patient's homes, in the workplace, or on the road.

Our Team

Each of Saint Clare?s emergency department (ED) locations is staffed by emergency physicians and specially-trained and certified nurses. Our EDs are supported by state-certified paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and mobile intensive care units (MICUs) who respond to locations throughout the region.

1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
5. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
6. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
8. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
