Programmer Analyst

JOB SUMMARY  The primary role of this position is to apply application analysis, design, development, programming and implementation skills using data retrieved from process control and shop floor equipment that spans multiple computing environments.  The role will also be required to convert legacy Access%5C%5CVBA databases.  These systems directly support manufacturing, finance, supply chain, quality and process/yield improvement activities of the company and are essential to the company's on-going success in these areas.   This position provides a dynamic work environment in which the qualified candidate will directly contribute to the immediate and long term needs of the company while at the same time supporting individual career development goals.    ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES Expected to assist in the implementation of Arconic's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles. Attend all EH&S training.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Job Functions Designs, develops, documents, programs and implements software tools for various facets of the business  Convert legacy Access databases to .net Assist users with data mining Learn, support & assist users with systems Executes miscellaneous programming.  Consults with the requester regarding programming requirements, determines the feasibility of requests and suggests alternatives, additions and approaches in fulfilling user needs. Develops specifications and the logic required to implement specific programs.  Tests and debugs programs to verify results and documents the program in compliance with corporate standards. Pursue continuous learning consistent with changes in technology and use this to influence IS direction. Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum 1 year SQL Server experience Minimum 1 year SQL Server toolset (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS) and TOAD for Oracle/SQL Server Minimum 1 yearexperience in application programming This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder') Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with emphasis on programming. Need to be able to write advanced queries using T-SQL 1 yearexperience with relational database concepts Strong skills in VBA and Excel C#, .NET development PowerBI experience Strong analysis, documentation and programming skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in-person and over the phone when interacting with Dover user community, HIT or GID. Exposure to Manufacturing and/or Finance environments Self-starter capable of managing small to medium sized projects within set budget and timeframe.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
